Liberty Hall...later called The Edmondson House... is extremely impressive as it boasts a large well-proportioned Ballroom to the left of the principal entrance. The long windows in the Ballroom extend almost to the floor. The Ballroom fireplace is graced by a particularly delicate mantle with a tray molding. Behind the Ballroom is a side entrance to the yard as well as to the utility room and powder room. To the right of the Ballroom is a beautiful first floor en-suite entered from the main hallway. Next is a lovely dining area which connects the main house to what was originally the "out kitchen" which is totally intact, having never been damaged by fire. The enormous fireplace is the focal point of the absolutely charming out kitchen. The kitchen added in the 1920's sits behind the original out kitchen and has been completely renovated. On the Second floor there are three generously proportioned bedrooms and a full bath. During the restoration of one of the second floor bedrooms 30 signatures were revealed dating from 1806 - 1832. These historically-significant signatures have been retained and are protected by plexiglas coverings. The third floor features a very large unfinished loft with dramatic views of the surrounding fields. The property has a beautiful back patio off the kitchen, a circular drive and a charmingly-restored barn .
